“The King: An Eternal Monarch” was a thrilling experience for me!

This drama really made my time and days better; I wish I could watch it again and again without recalling the plot so I could get the euphoric feeling again. A great epic romantic exciting experience with a strong and soul-filled soundtrack. However, nothing will be complete without noting the realistic, emotive, and emotional performances of all actors who diligently represent their roles. The performance of Lee Mi Ho, Kim Go-Eun, and Woo Doo-hwan was heartfelt.

The screenplay, cinematography, and script were all excellent, and the concept of time travel and alternate universes was depicted epically. I was highly attuned to the vibrational frequencies given off by this legendary drama. Watching The character played by Lee Min-Ho as the king, was truly a different experience for me, as far as his other drama roles are concerned. Though presenting himself as the king, his poise expressed both dignity and grace. He was the finest and most appropriate actor for the role and no one could match it as is clearly evident from the screenplay and his onscreen performance. I was captivated by his heroic walk and expressions; it was as if he was living within the character. I think the viewer would like to see Lee Min Ho work on more projects like this in the coming years.

Kim Go-Eun, the character she played as the detective, was rendered speechless. I liked how the director portrayed her character in a simplistic way with her clothing, which provided a visual feel. She was adorable and energetic despite not wearing several tight-fitting outfits or heavy makeup and having a flawless hairstyle. All about her was so real, such as her uncombed hair, a ponytail with only a black band, little to no mascara, formal yet casual wear, and sporty shoes; such aesthetic focus was also a consideration that pulled me to this drama.

Woo Do Hwan delivered an outstanding result. His maternal instincts and affection for his king were clearly delivered, which was also eye-catchy. Yes, we may have felt lovely different vibes from other dramas all over the world, but this drama is very interesting. And I believe that, like me, some viewers who have already committed to this drama are experiencing withdrawal effects, which is a wonderful sensation.

The OST’s Gravity, orbit and Maze, place ourselves to eternalize the incidents and situations of the plot. And the most epic line I felt was “ Protect her, she is your future queen”, those lines were stressed strongly with complete authority and his eminence in commanding was powerful onscreen.

This drama has captured the hearts of many KDrama lovers, including mine, and I believe you should watch it to experience the feeling and unravel the mystery behind the plot…so no spoilers from me!!!!!
Let us all take a moment to thank all of the actors, the director, and the creative staff for creating such a beautiful masterpiece.

Take care and stay safe & healthy!
